We're getting married

Join us for a weekend of wedding celebrations in Somerset, beginning in the beautiful city of Bath on Friday lunchtime, before heading to Yarlington Lodge - a Grade II listed country house nestled in the rolling hills of the South Somerset countryside- which will be our home for the weekend.

Saturday brings a full day of fun, including the opportunity to enjoy the wide array of activities available at the Yarlington Lodge, a long lunch at Three Horseshoes village pub, and an evening of dancing with a BBQ under the late spring skies. We close slowly on Sunday with breakfast baps, Bloody Mary’s and a late morning departure.

Venue and transport information

Bath Guildhall

The Guildhall in Bath is one of England's finest Georgian civic buildings, sitting at the heart of the city on the High Street. Built in 1778 and steeped in history, its magnificent Banqueting Room — with soaring chandeliers, tall sash windows and richly ornate interiors — is one of the most breathtaking spaces in the West Country. Set against the honey-coloured stone and elegant streets of Bath, it is a setting of rare grandeur and romance — the perfect place to mark the beginning of something wonderful.

Yarlington Lodge by The Newt in Somerset

Yarlington Lodge is a stately Regency country house set amongst the rolling hills and sweeping views of rural Somerset — a private retreat by The Newt in Somerset where four-poster beds, tented ceilings, walled gardens, a swimming pool, tennis court, cinema room and a Coach House with blissful countryside views await. Personal butlers are on hand throughout, and the house is ours entirely for the weekend.

The Three Horseshoes

The Three Horseshoes in Batcombe is a beautifully restored 17th century village inn, tucked between the medieval church and village hall in one of Somerset's most unspoilt villages. Brought to life by celebrated London chef Margot Henderson — of Rochelle Canteen fame — and featured in the Michelin Guide, it is a pub that lets its ingredients do the talking, with a daily-changing menu built entirely around local Somerset produce. Beamed ceilings, open fireplaces, flagstone floors and a walled garden complete the picture — the kind of place that feels like it has always been exactly as it should be. 20 mins from Yarlington, transport provided.
